Academy Operations App
Terms of Use
These terms govern authorized use of the Academy Operations learning and administration app.
1. Authorized service
The app is commercially provided by Anthony Ravin Gunawardana, sole proprietor trading as ARG & Associates, under the Wardana Technologies brand. The brand and underlying platform intellectual property are owned by Michael Janmaka Abeyweera Gunawardana and licensed to ARG & Associates for commercial operation. The app is available only to authorized learners, lecturers, administrators, and approved participants in academy activities. Access is personal, role-based, and may be suspended when a user's enrolment, employment, engagement, or authorization ends.
2. Account responsibilities
You must provide accurate information, protect your credentials and device, and notify support if you suspect unauthorized access. You may not share an account, impersonate another person, bypass role restrictions, or attempt to access records outside your authorization.
3. Acceptable use
- Use the app only for legitimate learning, teaching, administration, equipment, portfolio, marketplace, and related institutional purposes.
- Do not upload unlawful, harmful, infringing, deceptive, abusive, or malicious content.
- Do not interfere with the service, probe security controls, scrape restricted data, or misuse another person's personal or academic information.
- Follow the participating academy's academic integrity, safeguarding, equipment, payment, marketplace, and conduct rules that apply to your activity.
4. Learning records and content
Course resources, assessments, feedback, certificates, and other institutional materials may be protected by intellectual-property and confidentiality obligations. You retain rights in original content you submit, while granting the participating academy and its technology providers the limited permission needed to store, display, review, moderate, and process that content to operate the service.
5. Payments, equipment, and marketplace activity
The app may display fee, membership, payment-proof, equipment, job, or marketplace records. Unless expressly stated in an approved workflow, the app itself does not process bank-card credentials and does not replace applicable invoices, receipts, agreements, refund rules, equipment conditions, seller terms, or legal obligations. Any production payment or marketplace service is subject to the specific terms shown for that transaction.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service secure and available, but maintenance, connectivity, provider outages, or urgent security work may interrupt access. Features may change as academic, operational, policy, or legal requirements evolve. Important changes will be communicated through appropriate channels.
7. Suspension and termination
Access may be restricted or terminated for loss of authorization, misuse, security risk, non-compliance, or legal requirement. Records may remain subject to the retention rules described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Support and governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Questions, complaints, and technical requests may be sent through Academy Operations App support or to wardanatechnologies@gmail.com.
